Library Policies
The Library Media Center at George W. Gibbs Elementary is a place where students, families and staff find materials that answer their questions and provide enjoyment. We offer a wide variety of print and electronic resources to enrich and support curriculum. We also strive to provide materials to encourage each student's love of reading.

Families can check online to see what their student has checked out.
Go to the online catalog. Click on Gibbs elementary. Find the login button in the top right corner. Login to your childs account with their Student ID number for both the username and password. Look under the My INFO tab to see what is checked out and to renew books you'd like to keep. Please let me know by email if you have any difficulty with this. angriffin@rochester,

Families can also have accounts at Gibbs. If you would like to checkout books for your family, please send me an email with your name and address. I will set up an account for you. Families can checkout up to 20 books at at time and keep them for 3 weeks.

We are working on a direct email of overdue notices. Hopefully your family won't get one, but we think that an email will be easier than a paper notice.

Thanks for your help in keeping our books circulating.
